Hudson stared at his friend with a menacing glare as the rage built inside him. Artemis his wolf was trying to talk sense into him but he wasn’t listening. He didn’t need to listen to anyone. He knew exactly what he was doing.
“Get out of my way, Marco,” Hudson growled.
“I’m not going to do that. Something isn’t right, and you need to head back to the pack so that we can figure this out,” Marco warned him.
Hudson didn’t want to be his friend, but if he continued to stay in his way, he would do it. “Colson has messed with my pack and my mate for the last time. He needs to be put in his place and it will give me great pleasure to do that,” Hudson said as he started to crack his knuckles.
Marco blocked him once again. “Don’t make me do something I don’t want to do.”
Hudson laughed. “What do you think you can do? I’m your Alpha.”
Marco lifted his eyed hi his once friend and Alpha. He couldn’t believe the things that Hudson was saying. This wasn’t him, but he was leaving Marco no choice but to challenge him. Marco pushed Hudson.
“You don’t want to do that,” Hudson growled.
“I do if it will knock some sense into you,” Marco replied.
Hudson threw the first punch, landing his fist against Marco’s jaw. Marco’s head jerked to the right; he stumbled back a little and lifted the back of his hand on his face and wipe it. When he looked down, he saw a little blood.
Macro looked up at Hudson, who was glaring at him with no remorse. “So that’s how it’s going to be?”
“I warned you, you don’t want to mess with me.”
“Oh, but I think I do,” Marco said before he swung at Hudson, landing a punch to his eye.
Both men started to growl mercilessly at one another as they started to circle. Neither was willing to back down at this moment. Marco was growing tired of Hudson’s mood swings; it reminded him of high school all over again. Hudson had started to rs back into the guy he was in high school, and Marco wasn’t going to allow it.
They both started to take swings at the other, causing bruises and cuts with each hit. It was only the two of them out there on the field; there was no one from the pack to help break them up.
This would only end when someone is on the ground.

Amanda started to feel the pain of the shift as the moon shined on eoneht. She wrapped her arms around her stomach and dropped to the ground, looking up at Luna Cynthia with pain in her eyes. “It’s starting!” Amanda cried out.
Luna Cynthia dropped to the ground with her, passing calming energy to Amanda. “Breathe, don’t fight it, Amanda. You are brave and strong; you will get through this, and it will get easier with every shift after.”
“Where’s Hudson? I want Hudson,” Amanda moaned out as she breathed through the feeling of her bones starting to break.
He will come, Willow, assured her. We will get through this.
Amanda wasn’t so sure. She hated that she was doubting her mate, but things had been off ever since they went back to College. She didn’t understand; she thought it was going to make things easier trying to live a normal life, but the longer they had been there, the more it put a strain on their relationship.
Luna Cynthia was getting worried about Amanda, but she was getting even more worried about her son. He continued to block her mind-link whenever she tried to reach out to him. She looked around as the pack started to shift into their wolves as they supported their future Luna to shift into hers.
She looked over at her husband. “You need to command Hudson to come back to the pack!” she yelled to him.
Benjamin nodded in agreement with his wife. This had gone oblong enough; their son should have been back by now. His eyes started to could over as he connected to both Marco and Hudson.
Benjamin: As your Alpha, I demand that you return to the pack. Right now!
His Alpha tone echoed through his head. He waited to hear a response from either of them but got nothing.
Benjamin’s hair started to raise on his arms; he was getting concerned for his son. He shifted quickly into his wolf and headed out of the pack.
His mind linked his Luna.
Benjamin: I’m going to get our son. Keep Stan close to you and Amanda. I will make sure the warriors maintain their posts until I return.
Benjamin pushed his wolf Magnus to his full strength. Something was wrong and he was going to find out the truth.

Vita bolted upright in the bathtub. Was she dreaming? She saw two men fighting in the middle of the field. They both looked familiar to her. Vita shook her head as she tried to remember the images that she saw. Why was she having these visions? Vita slowly pulled herself out of the tub and grabbed the towel to wrap it around herself. The images flashed again, and she recognized one as Hudson. Was he in trouble? Wasn’t he supposed to be with Amanda for her first shift?
“Ruby?” Vita called out.
Ruby opened the door to the bathroom when she looked at Vita her eyes were filled with concern. “What’s wrong?”
“Have you been in touch with Amanda?” Vita asked as she leaned against the counter.
Ruby grabbed the robe that was hanging on the door and helped Vita slip it on. “I’ve been staying in contact with my Luna. Why?”
“I think I saw Hudson fighting on campus, but something seemed off about him. I can’t quite explain it.”
Ruby nodded as she helped Vita out f the bathroom and into her room. “Let’s get you dressed and then I’ll reach out to the Luna to get an update,” Ruby said.
Vita nodded but she was still confused. Why was she having these visions? Vita started to get dressed when she felt a terrible pain shoot through her head, causing her to buckle to the floor. Flashes of images continued as the pain continued to radiate through her.
Vita screamed out at the pain.
Deak came running into the room, not sure what was going on. He found Vita on the ground and Ruby holding her. He dropped down to the floor next to him and pulled Vita into his lap to console her.” Vita, my precious Vita. what’s wrong?”
The pain slowly crept away from her as Deak continued to hold her, his touch causing tingles to run up and down her. “We need to go to the campus. Hudson is in trouble.”
